City of Craig Harbors

Greetings! Whether you’re planning your first visit to Craig and the west coast of Prince of Wales Island, are a regular visitor or a local looking to enjoy the local marine environment, the Craig harbor department wants to make sure you enjoy your time on the water around our community.

The Craig Harbor Department oversees a number of public facilities, including three harbors, two launch facilities, two docks and cranes, an icehouse and small cold storage facility and other harbor amenities. We can accommodate vessels up to 125’ at the float. Larger vessels can tie up at one of the docks or anchor out just north of town. Services at the harbor include power, water, garbage disposal, a used oil dump station, restroom and shower facilities and more.

Craig is the ideal place for commercial and recreational vessels to head for when the crew needs to take a break or its time to fuel up and get some supplies. There is a full service fuel dock, marine hardware and supply stores, fish processing and freezing facilities, clothing stores, grocery stores, restaurants, a Laundromat, car rentals, air services between Craig and Ketchikan, a medical clinic and a dental office, a post office, a library that offers internet access for the public, a pool and workout center, and numerous shops and services available. All are within a 5 to 10 minute walk of the harbors.
