Please note that the following guidelines apply to the event:

  • Items need to be sorted by wood, metal, and general garbage.
  • Refrigerators and Freezers will need to be drained and certified (tagged) before dumping.
  • Fuel tanks must have both ends cut off, the tank cleaned and free of oily residue
  • Propane tanks must have the valves removed or be punctured.
  • Boat motors and lawn mowers must have oil and gas removed
  • Tires will be allowed.
  • Only five cubic yards of trash (size of small dump truck) allowed per household.
  • Scrap metal must be cut into sections no longer than six feet.
  • Brush must be bundled and tied in lengths no longer than four feet.
  • Spring clean-up trash must be at curbside before 8:00am on the designated pre-scheduled day for your location.
  • Sorted wastes must be properly separated and ready for pick up at the scheduled time to facilitate the clean-up schedule.  Disposal of items that are not out at the designated time is the responsibility of the property owner.
  • Do not pile trash weeks in advance of spring clean-up, as wind and rain defeat our clean up efforts by redistributing litter throughout the neighborhoods.
  • Collection times may vary as the weekly garbage collection crews are different than clean-up week collection crews.

Make note that the following items will not be picked up:

  • No vehicles, and/or major portions of vehicles. Vehicles, and/or major portions of vehicles are not included in the Spring clean-up event.
