Southeast Alaska Art Glass is located at 1604 E. Hamilton dr. Kathy is fortunate to have turned a hobby she loves into something slightly bigger. Kathy has a showroom adjacent to her glass studio, where she has glass art for sale. Kathy is a bit old school and teaches classes at present through word of mouth and at a pace conducive to catching a salmon on a sport rod during the summer or finding a Japanese glass fishing float during the day which means Kathy prefers night classes! If you are in town, Kathy is the perfect person to call for a good time and a fast glass class. Most classes run 2-4 hours and cost $45.00 per person. Kathy offers classes in fused jewelry making (make 10 cabachons), fairy lights (20 strand everyday lights), and garden art (2 14" stakes and 1 2x10 hanging piece). Kathy is very flexible in class scheduling and prefers evening classes as stated above.
