What can I borrow from the library?

The Library has a wide variety of materials for all ages including books, DVDs, CDs and audiobooks. Additionally, the Library provides access to online databases and ebooks.

How many items can I borrow?

Established patrons can borrow 10 physical items at a time. Lapsit backpacks, learning bags, and STEM Kits are limited to 1 per cardholder.

New patrons can borrow 2 physical items at a time during the first 30 days of receiving their card. Upon demonstration of responsible borrowing behavior, the limit will increase to 10 items. New patrons must wait until they are Established patrons in order to borrow Lapsit backpacks, learning bags or STEM kits.

Non-resident patrons can borrow 2 physical items at a time.

How long can I borrow books or other physical items?

Most library items have a check out period period of two weeks (14 days). You can renew items twice.

Interlibrary Loan

If an item you need is not in our library system, we can still get the book for you using an Interlibrary Loan (ILL). We borrow the book from another library on your behalf, and in 2-6 weeks we can have the book available for you to check out.

All patrons with full borrowing privileges may use this service.

Can I renew ILL materials?

Due dates are set by the lending library. Renewals are granted at the discretion of the lending library. To request a renewal, please speak with the librarian at the front desk.
