2019 ICS Classes

Are you a first responder, member of a volunteer organization, or community member who would be part of a community response to a disaster or emergency?

The Incident Command System is used by response agencies from the federal to the local level.  FEMA has developed a number of courses to help communities with incident management.

The Southern Southeast Local Emergency Planning Committee is offering Incident Command System training on Prince of Wales for all responders and community members.

  • August 1-3, 2019 (8 am—5 pm) ICS 300—Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents  (Prerequisites:  FEMA Student ID and completion of ICS 100, IS 700, IS 800, and ICS 200)
  • October 3-4, 2019 (8 am—5 pm) ICS 400—Advanced Incident Command System for Complex Incidents  (Prerequisites:  FEMA Student ID and completion of ICS 300, IS 700, IS 800)

All classes will be held in the Craig City Council Chambers

For IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, and IS-800 you may take the courses online at https://training.fema.gov/is/ . 

All students must get a FEMA student ID number at https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid 

Students MUST sign up below to be scheduled for classes. 

If you are signing up for the ICS 300/400 courses you MUST also complete the Form 119-25-1 by clicking on the "Supporting Documents" link for Form 119-25-1.
