May 21, 2020 City Council Meeting

In response to public health advisories to limit the size of group activities, the City of Craig encourages the public to submit comments to the council via e-mail at cityclerk@craigak.com regarding any items on the agenda.  Comments received by 5:00 p.m. on MAY 21st will be entered into the meeting record.

Watch the meeting on Zoom. You can watch the council meeting on Zoom. You can access the council meeting on Zoom by going to https://zoom.us/j/5281996980. This will log you into the meeting so you can watch and listen. There is no charge (other than internet usage) for watching the meeting using Zoom. You can also access Zoom through your smart phone or pad by downloading the appropriate application. All participants who log in will be automatically muted and will not be allowed to unmute themselves.

Watch the meeting on Facebook Live. You can watch the council meeting on Facebook Live. The meeting will be live streamed to the City of Craig Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CityofCraigAlaska/videos. There is no charge (other than internet usage) for watching the meeting on Facebook Live.

Calling in by telephone. If your computer does not have speakers or if you want to listen to the meeting but do not have computer access, you can call in directly to the meeting. To call the meeting call one of the following numbers and use the MEETING CODE 528 199 6980:

o 1-669-900-6833 (toll call)

At this time there is no toll-free call-in option. Depending on the phone that you are using and your long-distance plan, you may be required to pay toll charges for calling in. You do not have to call in on your phone if you are watching the meeting using Zoom or Facebook Live.

In the event of an internet interruption you may still dial in and listen to the meeting.

Providing public comments at the city council meeting. We have some open seating at the meetings, but seating is very limited. If you want to comment through Zoom (either by using a microphone on your computer or by phone) you must contact the Craig City Clerk prior to 5 pm on the day of the meeting. You can contact the clerk by email at cityclerk@craigak.com or by calling city hall at 826-3275. You will need to provide the clerk with your name and the phone number or username of the device that you will be calling/logging in from. During the public comment period of the meeting the moderator will unmute you and the city clerk will invite you to provide testimony. You can also submit written comments to the city clerk at cityclerk@craigak.com. Written comments not received by 5 pm on the day of the meeting will be included with the next meeting’s packet.
