Update 1: Landslide on Port Saint Nicholas Road

PUBLIC NOTICE: 

Update 1: LANDSLIDE OUT PORT SAINT NICHOLAS RD.

On the evening of Monday, November 20^th, a mudslide blocked a portion of Port Saint Nicholas Road near 62 Pit. Work is currently underway to clear the debris. One lane is partially cleared and will allow for the intermittent passage of traffic while work continues to clear the remainder of the road.

Additional slides may occur and drivers in the area are encouraged to stay vigilant of additional slide activity: tumbling rocks, streams running brown, sounds of shifting earth, etc.
