Attending City Council Meetings Remotely
Public Comments and Viewing Craig City Council Meetings Remotely:

While seating is still limited due to COVID-19 social distancing efforts, there is more room for in person attendance at city council meetings. In addition, fully vaccinated persons (persons who have received both Pfizer/Moderna doses or one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine plus two weeks) are not required to wear masks or maintain six feet of distance from other fully vaccinated persons. Persons who are not fully vaccinated will be required to wear a mask and social distance at city council meetings.
• Providing public comments at the city council meeting. You can attend city council meetings in person to comment, submit written or email comments to the city clerk at cityclerk@craigak.com or arrange to provide comment by telephone by contacting the city clerk by email or by phone at 826-3275 before 5:00 pm on the day of the meeting. Written comments not received by 5:00 pm on the day of the meeting will be included with the next meeting’s packet.
• Watch the meeting on Zoom. You can watch the council meeting on Zoom. You can access the council meeting on Zoom by CLICKING HERE. This will log you into the meeting so you can watch and listen. There is no charge (other than internet usage) for watching the meeting using Zoom. You can also access Zoom through your smart phone or tablet by downloading the appropriate Zoom application. All participants who log in will be automatically muted and will not be allowed to unmute themselves.
• Watch the meeting on YouTube. You can watch the live stream of the council meeting on YouTube. The meeting will be live streamed to the City of Craig YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTou8Pn03MIEjLLb9Em0Xrg or by searching on YouTube for City of Craig, Alaska. There is no charge (other than internet usage) for watching the meeting on YouTube.
• Calling in by telephone. If your computer does not have speakers or if you want to listen to the meeting but do not have computer access, you can call in directly to the meeting. To call the meeting call one of the following numbers and use the MEETING CODE 528 199 6980:

At this time there is no toll-free call-in option. Depending on the phone that you are using and your long-distance plan, you may be required to pay toll charges for calling in. You do not have to call in on your phone if you are watching the meeting using Zoom or YouTube.
In the event of an internet interruption you may still dial in and listen to the meeting.
