Craig Parcel Numbers

Properties in Craig are assigned a unique parcel number that remains attached to the property despite ownership, use, or tax accounts.  The parcel number is divided into a block and lot numbers with the number series depending on where you are in town.  Blocks in Craig are generally organized as follows:

  1. West Craig (from the Craig Harbors west, also called "Old Craig") - Block Numbers in WC-100 Series (WC-100, WC-101, WC-102, etc.)
  2. East Craig (from the Craig Harbors east to the causeway near East Hamilton Drive) - Block Numbers in EC-200 Series
  3. Cemetery (Graveyard) Island (consisting of the entirety of Cemetery Island starting at the causeway) - Block Numbers in CI-300 Series
  4. Port St. Nicholas (from the intersection of the Craig-Klawock Highway and the Port St. Nicholas Road to the east Craig city limits) - Block Numbers in PS-400 Series
  5. North Craig (from the intersection of the Craig-Klawock Highway and the Port St. Nicholas Road to the northern Craig city limits) - Block Numbers in NC-500 Series

Block numbers are shown on parcel maps inside a bold hexagon with the block number printed in bold.  Lot numbers are shown in smaller hexagons with the lot number printed inside.  Full parcel numbers use the combination of series label, block number, and lot number (i.e. WC-103-040).

Links to parcel maps are shown below.  Parcel numbers are a good way to search for parcels on the Property Tax Information interface page.
