PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CITY’S INTENT TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT

The City of Craig intends to submit an application for a Community Development Block Grant through the Alaska Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development.  As part of the application process the city is required to hold a public hearing to explain the CDBG Program purpose and funding activities, discuss a proposed example project (Engineering and Design for Craig Small Boat Harbor), and ask for alternative proposals for projects.

Based on the public hearing the Craig City Council may select a proposal (either the proposed example or an alternative proposal) and direct staff to submit an application for funding.

The public hearing will be held as part of the regular Craig City Council meeting at 7 pm on November 19, 2020 in the Craig City Council Chambers.
